Committee for Children - Email Campaigns
Our Legacy, Our Future
“For 40 years, Committee for Children has been helping children learn, grow, and thrive by teaching them how to understand emotions, build meaningful relationships, and resolve conflicts. Because we believe that if you make a positive impact on enough children through social-emotional learning, then the ripples will help a family, a school, a community, and ultimately, the world. We call it the Empathy Effect, and it’s what we’ve worked toward since 1979. And we’re just getting started—this year, we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary by setting an ambitious goal for the future: to positively transform the social-emotional well-being of 100 million children annually by 2028. But we can’t do it alone. Become an advocate. Lend your voice. And let’s grow kinder together.” – Committee for Children

I’ve worked with KJ on multiple projects, and she is always professional and timely. Even better, she really devotes herself to each project to make sure it’s just right. I appreciate her thoughtful approach to the work itself and her skill, knowledge, and insight. I’ve recommended KJ to several colleagues and friends, who have also been happy with her work. I’ll continue to work with KJ as I have new design needs, and I’ll keep recommending her too.Jeni Chappelle
J. M. Jinks - Banner & Logo Design
Magic Served With a Side of Sass
J.M. has always had a love of reading that progressed into writing. She tried to write books even when she was very young, but she never completed a manuscript until she finished Mostly Innocent, A Powers That Be Novel, Book 1.

Since, J.M. has continued writing and immersing herself in the publishing world mostly through Twitter and the AMAZING writing community. Since publishing Mostly Innocent, J.M. has won a few writing competitions (#WriteMentor and #RevPit to name a few) and is currently seeking agent representation. Also, starting in July 2019, J.M. is the social media coordinator and an editor for Mostly Innocent’s home—Champagne Book Group.” – J. M. Jinks, Author of Mostly Innocent

I hired Kat in early 2019 to help me renovate my website. She guided me professionally through all the steps, collecting information from me on what I already had and what I wanted going forward. She evaluated my old website, set-up through WordPress, and gave me suggested changes. We also worked on creating a logo and a banner for myself and the site. She did some magic on the backend of WordPress to perfect my pages and then she created a how-to document for me to use for keeping my website updated. I couldn’t have made the site look the way it does now without Kat. And all at a very reasonable rate.Laura Hazan

Rewrite It Club - Development | Design | Project Manager
Rewrite Your Story One ‘Why’ at a Time
“Often called developmental revisions, we help ask the question: why? in every element of a writer’s story. Sometimes the answers are easy, but more often writers have to dig deep into a character’s psyche and life in those moments leading up to the first page.” – Rewrite It Club

Writer In Motion - Development | Design | Project Manager
From Prompt to Polished!
“Writer In Motion started out as an idea for writers to draft a short story from a prompt and show their entire revision process by blogging about it as they went. It was such a huge success we’ve decided to do it again, and you’re invited to play along.

Take center stage by sharing your own process, peek behind the curtains at each other’s work, or just lurk and learn. Aside from an opportunity to share and hone your craft, Writer In Motion is a lot of fun and comes with a fantastic, supportive community to boot.” – Writer In Motion
